John Barber

Co-Founder

John is an experienced business manager across a broad range of businesses. He spent 14 years with Dow Jones/Telerate running a substantial business with 53 offices, 2,500 staff and a turnover of $500m. Two stints with ICAP PLC including building and selling their DART subsidiary and running the Global Information division. As CEO John ran, built and sold Logicscope Ltd to Markit Partners a $5bn corporation owned by a consortium of investment banks. Amongst other projects he ran and sold a retail sports business and is currently CEO of Redd&Whyte Ltd a bio technology company serving the Life Sciences Industry and a consultant and director of Firezza Ltd a leading food delivery operation.


Antoine Kohler

Co-Founder

Antoine is a seasoned executive with over 20 years’ experience in financial markets. Antoine spent 13 years at ICAP plc in various managerial roles before joining the CME Group in 2010 as CEO of CMA, a boutique software and data outfit which he sold to S&P in 2012. Antoine left the City in 2013 to focus on Export services into Africa in partnership with Lantrade Global Supply Ltd as well as Investment and consulting services to start-ups and SMEs, which led to setting up Carbon Finance Partners in February 2014. He has considerable hands-on experience in leading businesses to achieve long term growth.

John Leyden FCA

Co-Founder

John is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a City based practice, Carbon Accountancy Limited.

John qualified in Ireland and then moved to KPMG in the UK in 1989.  In 1995 he was involved in the first Internet deal is Europe, raising £13 million for Demon Internet, at the time the largest Internet Services Provider in Europe.

John has an extensive track record in corporate finance have been involved in management buy-outs, acquisitions, disposals, IPO’s and private equity deals (both structured tax investments and general private equity).

Nick Dyne

Partner

Nick has been involved in the banking software industry forover 25 years, covering the whole workflow from price feeds though to settlement.  As the founder of Logicscope, Nick has builtbusinesses in market data technology and post trade messaging in partnershipwith some of the world’s largest banks and information vendors.   Having sold the business to Markit Partners, a $5bn corporation owned by a consortium ofinvestment banks, Nick was MD of business development instigatinginitiatives in OTC trade execution, reference data and strategic alliances.
